These trusses are made from 100+ year old solid antique heartpine beams. A total of 7 beams were used in this project. Original size: 11X17 X 25'
The beams were denailed, resawn, planed and timberframed by CGI, LLC, Ethelsville, AL. Scott supplied two of the beams and the others were purchased from CGI. Truss design is from the house plans supplied by Scott, with the timberframe joinery designed and installed by Charles Pierce Griffin and Rivers Griffin. Home builder is Wyeth Rhett, Rhett Construction, Columbus, MS. Rhett Carpenter-Bobby Zion and crew installed the beams, with the help of crane and operator from Columbus Machine, and ground support from CGI, LLC.
